Still alive.
Sorry tumblr - I am still alive. A bit busy with working a real 40+ hour work week, but no worries. Still eating well, lifting heavy, sleeping soundly, and practicing proper self-care.

Today’s workout:
1 hour yin yoga class. Ahhhh so good. So many hip openers. Just what I needed.
Standing on my feet all day prepping food for the week.

I’m off with the log and off with my weights because I forgot my spreadsheet & was rushing, but here is today’s work out:
Squat (5x5): 85 lb
Overhead Press (5x5): 50 lb
Deadlift (1x5): 135 lb
+ Foam rolling earlier in the day
Eats:
AM: Green tea.
Meal 1: Shake made with coconut milk, coconut flakes, cocoa powder, cinnamon + ice.

This morning’s work out:
1 mile bike to the park, with a 25 lb kettlebell in my basket and yoga mat/bag on my back :)
In the park:
50 push ups
100 kettlebell swings
150 squats
1 mile bike back from the park
(Did this when Ryan did “Murph” in the park. Phew.)
Now I’m making a pancetta, Italian sausage, spinach & green onion frittata. Life is good.

Overhead press (5x5): 45 again
Deadlift (2x5): 120 lb
Thoughts:
Barbell rows should have been 55 lb, but I read my spreadsheet wrong. 60 worked out fine, though....

Deadlift (2x5): 110 lb
Thoughts: Today was rough. I’m not sure if it was the two late nights in a row, or just that we needed a bit more recovery time, but we pushed through it and got it done.
